Project Management was an integral part of all projects in my grad classes. For both individual and group projects and activities, we were trained to keep an organized account of who, what, where and when. Two examples can be found below.
Design Thinking became a state of mind once I learned how empathy and listening skills where integral parts of its framework. Those qualities are essential in order to design with the user in mind. I have used it and I have taught it in my classes, because I believe it should be in everything we create.
As part of my Educational Hardware Systems class, we focused on Cloud Computing and its benefits for any organization. My goal was to inform and convince a real-world client that adopting a cloud strategy would help their business take off.
Strategic Management Plan (SMP) & SWOT Analysis Organizations of all types require careful planning and analysis of needs and procedures, and how to bridge gaps successfully. In my Managing Computer Applications class, I researched, analyzed and planned how to implement the adoption of software in a real-world organization by creating an SMP for them.
